Free P2P file transfer in the browser
OmniSend lets two people send a file while both keep the webpage open. Drop a file, share the link or 4-digit code, and the file goes from browser to browser. We do not keep a copy on an OmniSend server. Closing a tab stops the transfer.
How it works
1. The sender chooses one file. 2. Share the link or code. 3. The receiver opens https://omnisend.stream and stays on the page until the download finishes. Home and mobile-hotspot networks work more often than school or office Wi‑Fi, which may block peer-to-peer connections.
FAQ
Is it free? Yes. Do I need an account? No. Why did it fail at work? Many company and school networks block WebRTC. Try a phone hotspot. Is the file stored? Not on our cloud. Some networks may relay through a public TURN server only to connect the two browsers.
